1) Date: 11th to 12th December 2010 Time: 9am to 5pm
2) Venue: Teluk Bahang Dam, Penang

3) Races: Events as follows:

4) Distane: 250 metres and 500 metres

5) Racing style: Seated

6) Rules & Regulations: IDBF

7) No of Competitors:

Standard boat: Paddles 18 to 20, 1 drummers & 1 steerer, 4 reserves (26 maximum)

Small boat: Paddles 8 to 10, 1 drummers & 1 steerer, 2 reserves (14 maximum)

8) Division:

8.1: Premier – the primary class of racing. There are no restrictions on competitor’s age. Open to all crews.

8.2: Senior 40 - all competitors must be aged 40 or over on 1st January 2010, with the exception of the Drummer.

8.3: Junior U18 – all competitors must be aged under 18 but at least 12 on 1st January 2010, with the exception of the Steerer.

8.4: Junior U23 – all competitors must be aged under 23 but at least 12 on 1st January 2010, with the exception of the Steerer.

8.5: Penang Closed - For Penang crew only.

9) Racing Class:

9.1: Open - no restriction on crew composition.

9.2: Women - for female crews only including the Drummer and Steerer.

9.3: Mixed - minimum of eight (8) and maximum of twelve (12) female paddlers.

10) Races - There must be a minimum of 4 entries for each race to run.

11) Entry Fees - RM50 (Malaysian team) or USD$25 (Foreign team) per event.

12) Prizes -

(A) Premier Open (500m) - 1st Placing RM2,000; 2nd Placing RM1,500 and 3rd Placing RM1,000.

(B) Premier Mixed (500m) - 1st Placing RM1,500; 2nd Placing RM1,000 and 3rd Placing RM800.

(C) Premier Women (500m) - 1st Placing RM1,000; 2nd Placing RM800 and 3rd Placing RM500.

(D) Penang Closed - 1st Placing RM2,000; 2nd Placing RM1,500 and 3rd Placing RM1,000.

(E) Other Events - 1st to 3rd Placing - trophies
